Terms of License, Refund Policy & Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
1. Terms of License
These terms apply to the purchase and use of each license for Patrus ("the Software"). By purchasing or using the Software, you are deemed to agree to the following conditions.
- Each license may be used on a single Mac per purchaser only.
- Licenses may not be transferred, shared, or redistributed to third parties.
- Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering the Software is prohibited.
- The 1-Week License is valid for 7 days from the time of purchase. Continued use requires upgrading to the Perpetual License.
- The Perpetual License (Ver1.x) is valid permanently for updates within the Patrus 1.x version series. Upgrading to a future major version (Ver2 or later) may require a separate license.
- The Software requires macOS 15 or later (Intel / Apple Silicon). Support is limited for issues arising from use on systems that do not meet this requirement.
2. Refund Policy
The Software is a digital product delivered immediately via download. Due to this nature, the following policy applies.
- The 1-Week License is, by its nature, generally non-refundable.
- For the Perpetual License (Ver1.x), refunds are accepted only within 7 days of purchase, and only in cases where a serious defect (such as failure to launch or a listed core feature not working) makes the Software unusable.
- Refunds are not available for reasons attributable to the customer, such as accidental purchase, not checking system requirements beforehand, or the Software not matching expectations.
- A defect intentionally caused by the customer (such as modifying the Software, forcibly running it in an unsupported environment, or deliberate misuse) does not qualify as a "serious defect" eligible for a refund.
- Whether a refund is granted is determined by the seller based on the information provided. We may ask you to provide additional details (such as a description of what you were doing when the issue occurred) to help with this determination.
- Payment and refund processing is handled through our merchant of record, Polar.sh. Polar.sh's own policies may additionally apply.
